The 2010 New Zealand Disc Golf Tour
Looks like we finally have confirm on dates and venues - it just keeps getting more popular!.
Whether it’s the hills of Waiheke Island or Taumarunui, the alpine environment of Queenstown and National Park, the skills required for Upper Hutt, the true test of Taupo, a cruse around Jellie Park or the work out that is Tauranga Xtreme, get out and enjoy the 2010 NZDG Tour, we certainly make the most of some of New Zealand’s most beautiful locations.

2010 Tauranga Extreme Disc Golf Tournament
There is something pleasing to the eye when a collection of deciduous trees readies for winter in a park bejewelled with lakes and vistas. The leaves transform from their verdant normality to blazing showpieces duelling with the sunset. And so McLaren Falls Park is a particularly pretty place to gather for an Autumnal disc golf tourney.

Alfred Cox Park Disc Golf Course Gisborne August 7 & 8.
It would be great to get plenty of support for this event as Sport Gisborne and Tourism Eastland have put plenty of effort into getting this permanent course up and running. Not to mention the late Bob Clarks efforts installing and even financing much of the course.
The course itself makes good use of the available site, it's relatively short and technical although we will be installing longer Pro tees on numerous holes so bring your drivers.
The weekend Format.
Friday August 6
- 2:00pm .. Disc Golf workshop/clinic at Alfred Cox Park.
Saturday August 7
- 10:00am .. Registrations
- 10:30am .. Players meeting
- 11:00am .. First Light Bob Clark Memorial Round 1. [TD Draw]
- 12:00pm .. Lunch .. BYO [Shops are handy to the park.]
- 01:00pm .. First Light Bob Clark Memorial Round 2. [TD Draw]
Sunday August 8
- 09:30am .. First Light Bob Clark Memorial Round 3. [Seeded]
- 11:30am .. Lunch .. BYO
- 12:30pm .. First Light Bob Clark Memorial Round 4. [Seeded]
- 02:30pm .. Presentations and home time.
Entry Fee $15 and covers NZDG levy and insurance.
Accommodation. .. Do this ASAP as there is a lot on in Gisborne over this weekend.

[Note that from 2009 NZDG will instigate an ‘A’ and ‘B tier’ system judged on the 2008 events. Also there is a chance your top 4 will be increased to your top 5 points that count.]
